2009
Designed and conducted two Scientific Knowledge Mapping and Knowledge Integration Workshops in Siem Reap, Cambodia during the summer of 2009 for the USGS DRAGON Asia Summit Meeting of deltaic life and physical scientists from the world's major river systems. We were sponsored by the Caddo Lake Institute and the National Wetlands Research Center. Our courses were taught to 100 of Southeast Asia's top young riverine and wetland scientists.
2004-2006
Official Interpretive Science Signage System Consultants to the new $5 million DORIS I. SCHNUCK CHILDREN'S GARDEN: A MISSOURI ADVENTURE--trail signage system, brochures, and booklets, plus garden-wide signage system redesign at Missouri Botanical Garden (Dr. Peter Raven, Director). This new children's garden opened on April 1, 2006.
2004-present
Appointed Plant Science Trail Designers for the new 25-station PALMETTO TRAIL at the Barton Arboretum of the Burden Research Center, Baton Rouge, LA (Dr. C.P. Hegwood, Director). This trail opened in November, 2005 and is now being restored in honor and memory of Professor James H. Wandersee.
