EarthScholars Research Group was founded to conduct state, national, and international field-based, image-based, Internet-based, and archival research aimed at improving and INTEGRATING geological and biological learning.
OUR GOAL IS to improve public understanding of these two sciences.
OUR SPECIAL AREA OF NATIONAL EXPERTISE lies in our research, integrated design, and improvement of geological and biological education programs at informal science education sites, specifically--FOSSIL PARKS, NATURE PARKS, ARBORETA, and BOTANIC GARDENS.
OUR FOUNDING TEAM IS geologist/geoscience educator, Professor Renee M. Clary, Ph.D., of Mississippi State University; and the late botanist/biology educator, Alumni Professor emeritus Jim Wandersee, Ph.D., Louisiana State University.
